“ We went for lunch in this cute little restaurant. The staff were great, and provided some recommendations. The food was amazing. The curry reminded me of being back in Japan. 5 out of five. We will definitely come back and try some of the other menu recipe recommendations. ”
“ Came here with a couple friends and really enjoyed our experience here. The manager and server were both attentive to check on our food and even gave us some free curry. Best way to describe the food is Japanese inspiration with a Korean twist in fusion which were all super flavourful and tasty. We especially enjoyed the katsu and the curry. Portion, texture and flavour were all very unique and the prices for portion was quite reasonable. The restaurant does not have that much seating but their decorations were super cool like their photographs from Japan and Korea. Love the cat theme! We will definitely be back to eat again ”
“ Exceptional food and service served here! We had the chicken don and the cheese katsu menchi- 10/10. Portion sizes were generous, especially for the fair price. Tea was served upon being sat which was free of charge and always a gesture! I almost forgot, we had the cheese takoyaki and it is for sure the best in the area! ”
“ Such a cute atmosphere with cat-themed items everywhere and the food not only looked great, but also tasted amazing. I have to go back to try the rest of their menu. ”
“ I think I just found a hidden gem in Langford! We stopped by on a weekday evening for some Japanese-style tonkatsu, and wow—it did not disappoint. The place is small but super clean and cozy, with pictures of the food on the walls and menu, which made picking our dishes so much easier (thank you!). After some back-and-forth, we decided on the cheese menchi katsu and curry, and both were AMAZING! It’s not your usual tonkatsu—it felt more like a perfectly seasoned croquette fried to crispy perfection. Everything that came with it was fresh, tasty, and served in generous portions. Oh, and the warm tea? A lifesaver on a cold day—such a thoughtful touch. If I’m ever back in Langford, I’m 100% coming here again to explore more of the menu. If you’re craving a hot, delicious Japanese meal that’s not sushi, this spot is an absolute must. You’ll love it! ”
“ A great restaurant with an original blend between Korean and Japanese food with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, fast service and overall a great experience. Totally recommended. They have vegan options and the tofu servings are generous. ”
“ I absolutely loved the food here! I’d never had this type of noodle or donburi before, but it was so good. The bulgogi don and spicy udon are a must-try — highly recommend! Everything was super tasty and well-made. I’ll definitely be coming back. ”
“ So so so delicious. The spicy pork udon was exactly what I have been craving without knowing what I was craving. I will make the trip to Langford for this again. ”
